Why a flat fee instead of per-token pricing?
Token metering punishes the operators who succeed. We absorb the LLM cost so you can quote a flat price to your customer and keep the margin predictable. One agent, one fee, unlimited usage.
What does the 2.9% + $0.30 cover?
Every time a customer pays you through indie FDE, we route the transaction through Stripe and take 2.9% + $0.30. That's the same as Shopify Payments. You pay nothing on revenue you collect outside the platform.
What if I want to run more than one agent?
Each agent is its own $50/month subscription. Most indie FDEs run one agent per industry. If you scale to multiple verticals, add a seat per agent.
Is there a free trial?
Not today. We've found that pay-from-day-one builders ship faster. If you can't justify $50 of value in the first week, the indie FDE practice may not be the right fit yet.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Monthly subscribers cancel from the dashboard with no contract. Annual subscribers can switch to monthly at the next renewal.
How does this compare to Shopify Basic ($39/mo)?
Shopify is the closest analogue: a flat platform fee plus a transaction percentage on payouts. We deliberately set our rate at the same level Shopify charges its Basic merchants.
